On Sunday, June 11, tens of thousands took to the streets of Hollywood, California, in the Resist March. Previously this was the LA Pride Parade, but this year the name was changed to reflect the times we are living in with the Trump/Pence regime. The crowd was multinational, with the largest force coming from the LGBTQ community. People brought homemade signs that represented different ways people saw how to resist. The major theme of many signs was “love, not hate.” A small section of the crowd had signs against fascism. RefuseFascism.org had a militant contingent, chanting all 3.2 miles of the march, “No Fascist America. No! No! No!”
