$4000 Challenge to Amplify Refuse Fascism

Dear Friend,

Scottie, a supporter of Refuse Fascism, has put up a $500 challenge gift.
If we raise $4,000 in the next two weeks, he’ll contribute another $500. Here’s why:

“I just finished listening to recent episodes of the Refuse Fascism Podcast. Both are incredibly relevant and current—one features Dr. Ibram X Kendi and explores what we are facing with Great Replacement Theory in the White House, the other Close Delaney Hall-Close Them All shares lessons from the courageous actions of people fighting to close Delaney Hall and what that has to do with removing Trump from power.

We need to get the Refuse Fascism Podcast and the demand TRUMP MUST GO NOW out there and amplify it so millions take it up with us.

I am donating $500 as part of a challenge to raise $5,000 to amplify this demand through the podcast, print materials, and mobilizing activists in the streets. If we raise $4,000 in the next two weeks, I will add another $500.”

Help meet this challenge.
Your contribution will:

  • Amplify the Refuse Fascism Podcast and its reach.
  • Produce and distribute materials carrying the demand TRUMP MUST GO NOW.
  • Support organizers and activists bringing this demand into the streets and public square

What would it mean if TRUMP MUST GO NOW became a political demand of millions that actually shaped what happens in this country?  What would it mean if this demand was everywhere—where people gather and everywhere this regime is carrying out its program? That is not some fantasy. It is something we can work together to make real.

Right now people are not yet moving in their millions the way this moment demands.

There are not the thousands or tens of thousands outside Delaney Hall as the detainees fight for their lives and people protesting for their freedom face grave repression.

Too many people still believe the danger can be resolved through elections, even as this regime works to rig and steal it. Too many are deciding to live with these atrocities rather engaging with the reality of how to stop it.

But that is not the end of the story. People’s thinking can change. Political conditions can change. What people tolerate today can become intolerable tomorrow. What seems impossible can become possible. And what we do right now plays a role in changing that.

That is why Refuse Fascism is fighting to bring this demand everywhere: outside Trump’s concentration camps like Delaney Hall, at Pride celebrations across the country, at sporting events and concerts, and wherever people are wrestling with what kind of future this country is heading toward.

Millions of people already recognize that something is profoundly wrong. The challenge is transforming that concern into an organized force capable of driving the Trump fascist regime from power through relentless nonviolent mass resistance.

Together we need to make TRUMP MUST GO NOW not just something people give a thumbs up to, but a demand that begins to shape what happens in this country.

That will not happen on its own. It takes people stepping forward. It takes organization. It takes visibility. It takes resources.

That is why we are asking you to donate today.

Help meet Scottie’s challenge and help make TRUMP MUST GO NOW more than something people agree with.
Help make it a force capable of changing the political equation.

IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY, WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT A FASCIST AMERICA!

NOW IS the TIME WHEN WE MUST RISE UP and ACT to STOP the CONSOLIDATION of TRUMP MAGA FASCISM. For the lives of people here and around the world we must refuse unlawful and inhumane orders… we must fill the streets and town squares in non-violent protest—not stopping until we become millions — not relenting until this regime is no longer able to implement its program or maintain its hold on power.
