60 MINUTES OF NO … SO THAT WE CAN GET TO THE FUTURE WE WANT
July 8, 11 AM to 12PM local time, all over the country, is the Hour of NO. Modeled after Earth Hour, we will use this time to blanket our communities with messages of resistance.
Drape your banners in unexpected places. Put signs on your lawn. Write your message with sidewalk chalk. Decorate your clothes with buttons and stickers. Paint a mural. Form a caravan of cars. Wear your NO! T-Shirt and go to brunch. Take a picture of your creative action, tag @refusefascism on Instagram or Twitter, and post with hashtag #hourofno, #nofascistUSA and other hashtags against the attacks coming down on the people from the highest levels of government.
However you want to display your NO for this hour, do it boldly, do it colorfully, do it creatively, do it with friends, do it in a way you haven’t done it before. Do it to inspire … to bring people out on July 15th all over the country and raise the demand “Trump and Pence Must Go!”, forging a path to the time when millions of people are called to the streets, refusing to leave until this fascist regime is driven from power. An hour of NO. Not just for ourselves alone, but in the name of all of humanity.
