Daily Protest Schedule, DC & Nationwide, at @RefuseFascism on Twitter “We face a rolling coup barreling to a showdown on November 3,” says Andy Zee, co-initiator of RefuseFascism.org. “The Trump/Pence regime has said and shown they will not abide by an election they lose. The struggle for the future is on: Will it be Fascist, Or, Will We Act?” “The hearing to steamroll the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett will lock in a pro-fascist majority to throw the election to Trump no matter how you vote,” says RefuseFascism.org co-initiator Sunsara Taylor, who will be protesting and reporting from Washington, DC this week. “It will transform the highest court in the land into an instrument of white supremacist, Christian fascist, theocratic atrocity stripping women, LGBTQ people, and many more of their basic human rights. All this underscores the urgent need to drive out the fascist Trump/Pence regime.” “We face a critical crossroads,” Taylor states. “The hour is late, but not too late. Relying only on our voting will lead to disaster. The Trump/Pence regime is subverting the election now and preparing to nullify it. Waiting to act till they do so will be too late.” “The stakes could not be higher,” Coco Das of the Refuse Fascism Editorial Board says, “yet the Democratic Party will not fight to stop this nomination. They have already conceded, accepting that the nomination will go forward and limiting their calls to their base to ‘vote harder’ despite the evidence that votes alone will not determine this electoral outcome.” “Now we in our millions who do not want a fascist America must act.
