The Refuse Fascism National Tour to Drive Out Trump/Pence will be at the South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas this week, where we will be spreading the message “NO! In the name of humanity, we REFUSE to accept a fascist America” to the musicians, artists, filmmakers, and hundreds of thousands of people that come there from around the world. We are excited to make a striking impact with our presence, our voices, and the manifestation of NO! throughout the festival, and we need your help to accomplish this!
Here’s how you can get involved with the Tour’s journey to SXSW:
- Join us! The Tour will be in Austin from Monday March 12 through Friday March 17. Come to Austin! Meet up with us, bring your friends, and help spread the NO!—in videos, on clothing, with posters, with megaphones, and more. Help distribute tens of thousands of copies of the Refuse Fascism Call to Drive OUT the Trump/Pence regime. Contribute to the vibrant RF booth where the NO! will be projected to the world through social media. Help reach out to the musicians and artists so that they can use their platform to get this message out to even more people.
- Fundraise! We need posters that read NO! in every language. We need artists on stage wearing Refuse Fascism t-shirts, stickers, and pins. We need massive banners all across the festival and at the many sideshows throughout Austin. We need flexibility to be creative in spreading NO! in every way we can imagine. This will require generous donations from all of you, your friends, your family, your coworkers, and anyone you can think of. Go to the crowd-funding campaign and donate $50, $500, $1,000… DONATE as much as you can, share the link on all of your social media, and host a fundraiser in your church, home, or community center to support our tremendous effort to drive these fascists out of office.
