Dreamers Should Stay!
The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!
According to news reports, White House insiders have indicated that the Trump/Pence
Regime plans to end DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) tomorrow, September 5.
This means that 800,000 Dreamers — undocumented youth brought to this country as children– will be deemed illegal and targeted for deportation. For many of them this is the only country they have ever known.
Amina Gonzales of RefuseFascism.org says: “This threat against Dreamers is a vicious
escalation of the violent assertion of xenophobic white supremacy which is a hallmark of the Trump/Pence fascist regime. This is cruel, inhumane, and everyone should protest! The Trump/Pence regime – with its backing for white supremacists in the streets and their pardon of the racist Sheriff Arpaio – is illegitimate and must be driven from office. November 4, it begins!”
This threat against DACA is cruel, inhumane and unacceptable! It is also just one piece of
the whole Trump/Pence fascist agenda! Here’s just a taste of what they have done already: (more here):
— -Trump’s first act in office was an executive order targeting ALL 11 million undocumented
immigrants for deportation regardless of any criminal record.
— -Arrests of immigrants are up almost 40% from record highs under Obama.
— -Every day since Trump/Pence came to office over 400 people have been ripped away from
their lives, families, and jobs by ICE.
This Nightmare Must End: The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!
RefuseFascism.org calls on everyone to join with the protests planned across this country
against this outrage.
We also call on everyone who is horrified by this vicious attack on Dreamers, along with all
the other crimes of the Trump/Pence Regime, to join in getting organized for November 4.
On November 4, many thousands will take to the streets day after day and night after night, growing eventually to millions and refusing to stop until our demand is met: This Nightmare Must End: The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!
