THIS SATURDAY AT THE ARMY/NAVY GAME PROTESTERS TO DEMAND: “IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY, THE TRUMP/PENCE REGIME MUST GO”
RefuseFascism.org Philadelphia Chapter has called for protests demanding
“Trump/Pence Must Go!” on Saturday, December 6 when Donald Trump will be
attending the Army/Navy Game. Protest will be held at noon at 11th &
Pattison Avenue (subject to change).
Trump is coming to Philadelphia this Saturday to the Army/Navy football game
at Lincoln Financial Field. RefuseFascism.org will be bringing the
demand that the whole fascist regime be driven out of power, in the name
of all humanity and the planet. This protest is part of organizing now
for the time when thousands and then millions can be brought into the
streets across the country in unrelenting, sustained, nonviolent protest
until that demand is met.
Samantha Goldman, an organizer with RefuseFascism.org said, “Right now
there are 14,000 migrant children languishing in concentration camps and
Central American immigrants seeking asylum from the hell created by the
U.S. in their home countries are being met by U.S. troops with
authorization to use lethal force. This is a regime that deploys
dehumanizing, genocidal language to demonize immigrants as part of
setting up the infrastructure of fascism, a form of rule which
essentially eliminates traditional legal and civil rights. This will
worsen, and it can be made permanent. This is why when Trump is in town
we we will be acting with courage and conviction to say, ENOUGH! This
Nightmare Must End: The Trump/Pence Regime MUST GO!’ People all over the
world are counting on us to drive this regime from power. We will not
be ‘good Germans’ and quietly stand aside while there is still a chance
to stop a regime that imperils humanity.”
RefuseFascism.org is a movement of people coming from diverse
perspectives, united in the recognition that the Trump/Pence Regime
poses a catastrophic danger to humanity and the planet, and that it is
our responsibility to drive them from power through non-violent protests
that grow every day until our demand is met.
