Anti-Trump protesters stand united in face of threats from violent fascist gang “the Proud Boys” targeting Refuse Fascism and others at Hershey, PA Trump Rally
Refuse Fascism Demands: Trump/Pence #OutNow!
WHEN: Tuesday, December 10
WHERE: Hershey, Pennsylvania
Trump is coming to Hershey, PA to rally his fascist base on December 10. Good people throughout the region are organizing to protest his fascist regime, its concentration camps, its accelerated destruction of the environment, its moves towards theocracy, and much more. Refuse Fascism is bringing the simple unifying demand: “Trump/Pence Out Now!” We aim to build from this protest toward the sustained nation-wide mass protests necessary to drive the Trump/Pence regime from power as part of our plan for “December Disruptions.”
In particular, Refuse Fascism will be promoting and organizing people to go forward to join nationwide protests on December 14 to demand: Trump/Pence #OUTNOW!
In an article on the fascist “news” site thegatewaypundit.com the author quotes the chairman of the Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, who specifically calls Refuse Fascism “violent… terrorists” and says that his minions will “protect” the fascist rally.
These are LIES. Refuse Fascism advocates “massive, sustained nonviolent protests in the streets of cities and towns across the country – protests that continue day after day and don’t stop, creating the kind of political situation in which the demand that the Trump/Pence regime be removed from power is met.” Refuse Fascism Call to Action 2018
In contrast, the Proud Boys” mobilized for the “Unite the Right” white supremacist rally in Charlottesville where Heather Heyer was murdered and many others were severely injured. These are self-proclaimed “western chauvinists” who have come together to collectivize and weaponize their misogyny, white supremacy, and undying support for the fascist in the White House.
Importantly, other organizers of the rally refused to condemn Refuse Fascism when approached by these fascist “journalists” and have reached out to express support.
As Trump consolidates fascism, this is how his fascist base responds to even the prospect of non-violent protest. They aim to divide those who are standing up for humanity, and to intimidate those who are considering turning their outrage into action. Every time Trump is allowed to speak unchallenged, his power grows. All those on the side of humanity should ask themselves seriously, will you stand by as dissent is intimidated and criminalized? Or will you meet these threats with renewed determination to end this nightmare and drive this regime from power? Will you join us and support us on December 10th in Hershey?
“As the impeachment hearings move towards possible conclusion, sharp political lines are drawn with high stakes, Andy Zee, National Spokesperson for Refuse Fascism, states. “Trump has declared the entire lawful process illegitimate and worked with Republicans to defy and obstruct it. Yet, to date, the Democratic leadership has all but conceded that Trump will not be removed by the Senate. Further, they refuse to impeach on the basis of Trump’s full fascist program, thereby leaving intact and even legitimating these crimes.”
Refuse Fascism is committed to driving out the Trump/Pence regime through sustained non-violent mass protest. It really is that simple. The Trump/Pence regime poses a catastrophic danger to humanity. Concentration camps on the border… environmental devastation accelerated… war, even nuclear war, casually threatened… white supremacist rule… fascist mobs and racist mass murderers… truth and science erased… the right to abortion near gone… the rule of law and democratic and civil rights stripped away… THIS IS FASCISM UNFOLDING AND IN POWER.
In the Name of Humanity, We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America
