Refuse Fascism is going up to the gates of Trump’s fascist rally in Tulsa to deliver a political message: No fascist Trump rallies in Tulsa or anywhere. In the name of humanity, we refuse to accept a fascist America. Trump/Pence Out Now! Organizer Emma Kaplan, on the ground in Tulsa says, “There are two different futures posed and people have to decide which side they’re on – the side of open terror, white supremacy, and a whole fascist program imposing a nightmare on humanity – or the side of justice. We are here to rally everyone with a heart to get in the streets with us and take responsibility for stopping this fascist regime.” The Trump/Pence regime is a FASCIST regime fighting to consolidate its power – just yesterday Trump escalated threats to unleash violence on protesters and the right to dissent. It aims to impose an American fascism, rooted in the Confederacy, wrapped in the flag and Mike Pence’s Bible taken literally, spreading its poison of white supremacy, misogyny, xenophobia, and oppressive, fundamentalist “traditional” values. Coco Das of the Refuse Fascism editorial board says, “Trump made a strategic decision to re-launch his KKK-style campaign rally in Tulsa during Juneteenth weekend, where he can whip up a violent, white supremacist base to help advance and enforce his fascist program.” Refuse Fascism calls for an escalation of non-violent resistance to drive out the Trump/Pence regime, before it is too late, by sustained protest of millions in the streets – in the same way tyrannical regimes around the world have been removed from power. In the name of humanity, we refuse to accept a fascist America!NO MORE POLICE MURDER of BLACK PEOPLE TRUMP/PENCE OUT NOW!Nationwide protests include Tulsa, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Honolulu, LA, NYC, Philadelphia, SF, Seattle Call 202 556 3906 for interviews — 30 — |
