Everyone who can get to Austin on November 4th, Join Refuse Fascism in standing against the Trump/Pence Regime and its fascist storm troopers!
To all who hate and despair of what the Trump/Pence Fascist Regime is doing –including the threat of nuclear war and the existential threat this poses for the world– this is a Call to you to join us in Austin on Nov 4.
Donald Trump, who has called white supremacists fine people and said he longs for the days when protesters are carried out on stretchers, has emboldened Nazi and alt-right groups and fascist armed militias across the country. Several of these groups are mobilizing to descend on Austin on November 4th in order to stop Texas Refuse Fascism’s peaceful, permitted rally at City Hall. The unleashing of these street forces, to suppress dissent and clear the way for the violent assertion of this regime’s white supremacist, xenophobic, woman- and LGBTQ-hating ideology, is a key part of consolidating fascism.
This is not normal and should not be accepted. No one should be allowed to show up with weapons and issue violent threats to stop people from peacefully and courageously protesting this regime. Every person who cares about justice needs to stand up against Trump/Pence and the fascist storm troopers who are intent on silencing the people…and strengthening this nightmare being imposed on us.
Everyone who is troubled by this must take a stand. Only the people can change this with mass nonviolent protest in opposition to the fascists from this regime and their street thugs. Sitting this out and allowing protesters to be outnumbered, surrounded, and threatened will only lead to more horrors.
