In the name of humanity we refuse to accept a fascist America.
We are calling for and organizing nonviolent protests involving a broad coalition of all the decent people who see the urgent danger of the Trump Pence Regime at this moment and refuse to live in a fascist America.
** Keep our eyes on the prize—We demand Trump/Pence Out Now
We have to stay on message. We cannot lose our focus of bringing masses of people into the public square, creating a situation where the mass nonviolent outpouring for this demand is shaking up society. This will change the equation of who is seen as having right on their side, thwarting the Trump/Pence rolling coup. This means not getting diverted by attacks from fascists on the one hand, or on the other hand, those who oppose these protests, denying the danger we are confronting.
** Unite all who can be united on this single demand
This means bringing together all those who recognize the danger of this regime, from different perspectives, and understandings of what this Trump/Pence regime staying in office will mean for millions of people here and around the world. We will listen and learn from each other, drawing on the strength of our diversity, while putting aside differences that serve only to unravel the force of a people determined to not allow these fascist forces to remain in power.
** Draw a clear line of demarcation between our cause and the Trump fascists and their thugs and vicious lying mouthpieces.
Our way is to rely on the strength of the righteousness of our demand, the reality that it is in the interests of humanity, and the strength of our numbers coming into the streets in nonviolent protests. But the fascist forces who are determined to subject people here and around the world to a fascist America will nevertheless attack in different ways, and will try to intimidate us into backing down. We cannot allow that to happen, instead we need to stay strong, united in this cause and determined to turn every attack into an opportunity to draw forward many thousands more.
