We Declare Our Independence from Trump’s Fascist America
July 4 Join in the “Biggest Chant” Ever – Trump Must Go NOW!
In the last week, people have shown courage and conviction – from the streets of Los Angeles to today’s protests in DC and nationwide against Trump’s military parade. Between now and July 4, this struggle must broaden and deepen, growing in determination and aiming for continuous, unrelenting protests – nonviolent but full of righteous fury.
Can you stand another day of Trump’s Gestapo rounding up and disappearing immigrants to distant concentration camps? Can you make peace with military parades paying homage to Trump, and troops sent to sanctuary cities to crush dissent? Do you accept Trump’s fascist rule by executive decree? Trump has shown, with threats and action, that he will not accept any restraints on his power. In his fascist America, whole groups of people that he deems as his enemies and less than human will have no rights and no due process. This is the future Trump is speeding us toward, with disastrous consequences for all of humanity.
NO! NOW IS THE TIME FOR TRUMP TO GO!
Beginning on the evening of July 1, gather in DC for four days of bold, loud, non-violent but determined protests at key symbolic landmarks to demand the removal of the Trump fascist regime. We call on everyone with a conscience, all of you who dream of being free of Trump/MAGA fascism, to be part of this historic struggle – showing the people of this country and the world our determination to stop a fascist America.
These four days will build toward and point to the even greater and necessary struggle of millions of people in the streets demanding Trump Must Go Now, day after day and night after night, creating the kind of profound political crisis that makes it impossible for Trump to govern this country, impose his fascist program, or even hold onto power.
