February 24   Today Donald Trump unleashed a barrage of belligerent assaults and thinly veiled threats on the media before a seething, cheering fascist mob (a.k.a. the “Conservative Political Action Committee”). A few hours later Trump’s White House barred  reporters from the New York Times, CNN, and other news outlets from a daily press briefing. Trump’s sustained assault on the press is an unprecedented – and overtly fascist – act of suppression. As the Call of Refuse Fascism states, “Fascism is not just a gross combination of horrific reactionary policies. It is a qualitative change in how society is governed.  What is crucial to understand is that once in power fascism essentially eliminates traditional democratic rights.” 

The fascist Trump/Pence regime is moving rapidly to consolidate its grip on all of society. This entire regime is completely illegitimate. Resistance must grow until millions of people fill the streets of cities and towns day after day and night after night, Demanding, and not stopping, until the Trump/Pence Regime Is Driven from Power.
