On December 30, Governor Bruce Rauner is hosting a major fund raiser for Vice President-elect Mike Pence. This $10,000 per couple lunch will be met by protestors telling Pence YOU and TRUMP are NOT WELCOME. This protest is part of the growing momentum to build for outpouring on New Year’s Eve at Trump Tower properties here and around the world to say NO! In the Name of Humanity, We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America.
Vice President-elect Pence is a Christian fascist who will be #2 in the White House.
He wants to ban all abortions, overturn laws barring discrimination against LGBT people in the guise of “freedom of religion.” He wants to fully unleash the police to stop and frisk Black and other oppressed people. Mike Pence cites Bible verses to back up these ugly policy stands. He made an anti-evolution speech on the floor of the House saying he believes in anti-scientific “intelligent design,” arguing that it be taught in schools. He supported making the Patriot Act permanent and wants to ban the burning of the U.S. flag.
Fascism is a very serious thing. It has direction and momentum that must be stopped before it becomes too late. Everyone with a conscience should be out on the street and be part of Stopping the Trump/Pence fascist regime before it gets started. NO! In the Name of Humanity, We Refuse a Fascist America!
