Every day Refuse Fascism Handmaids have stood outside Congress, calling on people to not let the appointment of Amy Coney Barrett stand, a Christian fascist who will use the power of the court to enforce their views of biblical law on the bodies of women and LGBT people. Even more dangerous, Amy Coney Barrett, like Trump, has refused to commit to the peaceful transfer of power – an unacceptable power grab within a rolling fascist coup – with the theft of an election heading to a showdown on November 3rd. This is an illegitimate ramrodding of an appointment for the immediate purpose of throwing the election to Trump should he lose. This is an appointment that will lock into place a fascist majority on the Supreme Court, which will be catastrophic! Trump is already stealing the election.
