RefuseFascism.org will lead a permitted, nonviolent march from Logan Circle to the White House to say NO TO TRUMP’S FASCIST MILITARY PARADE and to demand TRUMP MUST GO NOW.
Trump’s military parade is not just symbolic. It is happening as the regime is purging the military of trans people; sending troops to crush dissent and escalate the violent roundups and abductions of immigrants; threatening the governor of California with arrest; and brutally preventing Senator Alex Padilla from even asking a question at a Department of Homeland Security press conference. This is fascism. It must be opposed, nonviolently but with determination, in the streets of D.C. and all over the country.
“Donald Trump, before the eyes of the world, issued a direct threat against any protest here in DC against his fascist military parade. This just shows that the Trump fascist regime must go now, and that there must be, and in fact there will be, protest here in the streets of DC to raise that demand. We will be marching because we refuse to comply in advance with Donald Trump’s fascist threats and to surrender our First Amendment rights to free speech and protest,” said Sunsara Taylor, of Refuse Fascism.
