Saturday, July 26th Refuse Fascism March for Humanity Will Hit the Asphalt
What: Rally and March to Demand: Shut Down ICE! No Military Occupation! Shut Down the Whole Fascist Regime! Trump Must Go NOW!
When: Saturday, July 26, 10 a.m.
Where: La Placita Olvera, 940 N. Main Street, LA 90012, and marching to East L.A. Destination Hollenbeck ParkOn Saturday, July 26, Refuse Fascism will be marching from La Placita Olvera, past the Federal Detention Center, into the community of East Los Angeles where our immigrant brothers and sisters are being hunted, disappeared into detention camps and terrorized by a lawless and grotesque federalized military force loyal only to Trump’s MAGA fascist Regime.
This march will be led by justice-loving people, including clergy, artists, and dedicated activists in a joyous, determined, non-violent march that not only lets people know they are not alone but that there is a movement determined to STOP this fascism through growing acts of non-compliance that confront this fascist program.
We will not go along with businesses, universities and institutions who are caving in and collaborating with fascism in the name of “financial decisions” to cancel and silence dissent in the media or sorry excuses of “fiscal crisis” that shut down the right of people to fill the streets in protest while the police are facilitating the business of ICE terror.
We will let this country and the world know that this wannabe emperor & monstrous regime really has no clothes or a single shred of legitimacy. Now is the time to be visible, it’s time to be loud and it’s time to be in the streets because this is a state of emergency!
Tomorrow we march for the immigrants to be freed! For the Trans kids who have just had proper medical care in California canceled. For the people of Palestine, being forced through deliberate starvation, famine and genocide from their homeland. For every DEI hire when a regime that celebrates genocidal racism is taking a sledgehammer to every piece of civil rights legislation. For women who are losing their right to control their own reproductive destiny. For a planet facing the existential threat of climate change while this regime erases even mention of the word, while it dismantles NOAH, the EPA and every international agreement.
Tomorrow In the Name of Humanity we march to say WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT A FASCIST AMERICA. SHUT DOWN ICE! NO MILITARY OCCUPATION! SHUT DOWN THE WHOLE FASCIST REGIME!# # #
