Once again this morning, Bob Corker, Republican head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said that Trump is so dangerous that he is setting the country on a path to World War III. And remember, Corker is not running for re-election. He is not a Democrat. He has no “skin in the game,” other than what he perceives the overall interests of the ruling class to be. And now, for the second time in two weeks, he has made this point.
So stop. Think. If what he is saying is true – and if anything, he understates the problem — this means that all of humanity is in direct danger of extinction at the hands of a fascist regime headed by a demented bully and an end-times Christian fanatic.
How is this not something that everything stops for? Why are we not seeing both Republicans and Democrats stopping business as usual and clamoring for immediate hearings, calling people into the streets, and taking drastic steps to prevent such a calamity? Again, think of what’s being said! “On the road to World War III.”
We cannot wait for those on top to see reason or to find a heart. They, as well as all of society, must see and hear masses of people coming out on November 4, and the days thereafter, demanding that this regime be driven out and replaced.
The future depends on it.
