Chicago Refuse Fascism Gives Sen. Dick Durban “Award” For NORMALIZATION AND CONCILIATION WITH THE FASCIST REGIME

FOR OUTSTANDING SILENCE, NORMALIZATION AND CONCILIATION WITH THE FASCIST REGIME
PRESERVATION AWARD TO
SENATOR DICK DURBIN

Nov 16: Today at noon Chicago Refuse Fascism marched into the office office of Il. Senator Dick Durbin in Chicago.

Stunned receptionists watched ‘Donald Trump’ present Durbin with an award for ‘Silence, Normalization and Conciliation with the Trump/Pence Fascist Regime’.

By the time security arrived to escort them out, they had completed the ‘ceremony’ and the receptionists had accepted the large scroll.

Text of the award:

FOR OUTSTANDING SILENCE, NORMALIZATION AND CONCILIATION WITH THE FASCIST REGIME
PRESERVATION AWARD TO
SENATOR DICK DURBIN

For preserving the silence and making life seem normal when there is a fascist in the White House.

For not unduly alarming the public of the grave danger that humanity and the planet face.

For reaching across the aisle and conciliating while an unfolding disaster is underway: Puerto Rico drowning, WWIII threatened, Dreamers deported, immigrants demonized, pussy grabbing bragged about, the environment plundered, treaties ripped up.

For being part of the Democratic Party leadership that smothers the anxiety and unease of many of their constituents. For this service, we present you with the SILENCE, NORMALIZATION AND CONCILIATION WITH FASCISM PRESERVATION AWARD. (*State Bird-Buzzard)

IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY, WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT A FASCIST AMERICA!

NOW IS the TIME WHEN WE MUST RISE UP and ACT to STOP the CONSOLIDATION of TRUMP MAGA FASCISM. For the lives of people here and around the world we must refuse unlawful and inhumane orders… we must fill the streets and town squares in non-violent protest—not stopping until we become millions — not relenting until this regime is no longer able to implement its program or maintain its hold on power.
