RefuseFascism.org Disrupts Pompeo’s Speech Threatening War on Iran
On Sunday July 22, fascist Trump/Pence regime hitman U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, came to the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley, CA to bang war drums and further lay the groundwork for a U.S. attack on Iran.
About ten minutes into Pompeo’s speech, the tables got turned on Pompeo and hundreds of reactionaries in the audience. When Pompeo began to speak about “American’s kidnapped by the Iranian government…” Refuse Fascism member Michelle Xai disrupted Pompeo’s speech, calling out the fascist Trump/Pence regime for THEIR crimes against humanity, including THEIR kidnapping and terrorizing of immigrant children.
In tandem with Trump’s recent Nazi-style rallies in North Dakota and Montana, Pompeo’s speech at the Ronald Reagan library intended to rally fascist foot soldiers behind Trump’s “America First” plan to violently re-order the international framework. It was like a declaration of war on Iran.
Holding a banner that read “The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go! RefuseFascism.org” Xai called out “No War on Iran!” and spoke to the urgent need to drive the Trump/Pence regime from power.
Thousands of people have seen this bold action on social media in the first hours since the disruption.
