They say: “No to White Supremacy Outside and Inside the White House – The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!” Sunsara Taylor, co-initiator of RefuseFascism.org says, “These white supremacist thugs – anointed ‘fine people’ by Trump – are enforcers of an America fascism rooted in white supremacy, misogyny and xenophobia wrapped in the America flag with the Bible taken literally. Everyone with a conscience must get to DC and repudiate them, and get organized to drive the whole fascist Trump/Pence Regime from power before they permanently lock in place their fascist nightmare.” RefuseFascism.org, who recently made headlines for their dramatic protests dressed as Handmaids against Mike Pence, draws links between the fascists in the street and the regime in the White House, writing: “Fascism rules by organized repression and terror by the government and by the mob. The Trump/Pence Regime is using the state to terrorize immigrants and cage children, to assail the media, to ban Muslims. They have instructed police to take the gloves off further killing and brutalizing people of color. Recently won LGBTQ rights are under assault. Women are poised to lose the right to abortion and even birth control.” Their official statement calling for protests this weekend concludes: “Our actions to stop these fascist white supremacists should build the unity and strength needed to launch a nationwide struggle beginning with tens of thousands in cities across the country that continue day after day and DO NOT STOP until the demand, This Nightmare Must End: The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!, is met.
