Organizers Condemn Trump’s Attack on the Elections; his Fomenting Voter Fraud And Suppressing Black, Latino and Native Voting Rights

“Donald Trump’s advocating that people violate law and vote twice – for the purpose of undermining and invalidating the 2020 elections — is yet another reason why this fascist must be driven from office now,” said Refuse Fascism national spokesperson Andy Zee.

▪	“Trump has been organizing ‘poll watchers,’ recruited from among ex-military, to go into minority areas to harass people and prevent Black and brown people from voting.”

▪	“He has declared that the only way he could possibly lose would be through a ‘rigged election’. He has said he will not respect the results if he loses.”

▪	“His attorney general, William Barr, has backed these lies, saying, ‘mail-in voting is fraught with the risk of fraud and coercion.’”

Zee said: “This is a direct assault on the integrity of the elections. Trump is fomenting violence by his followers to intimidate people from exercising their rights.” Not only must all this be opposed and not be normalized, shrugged off with a posture of wait and see. Now is the the time to take to the streets while there is still a chance to stop a regime that imperils the people of the world and the earth itself.”

“On September 5, we will make a living declaration to the world that we are uniting, we are organizing, we are determined, we are preparing to struggle with all we’ve got, starting now and not stopping until the Trump/Pence regime is driven from power and its fascist program brought to a halt,” says RefuseFascism.org national spokesperson Coco Das.
