Protesting Trans Ban in Honolulu

About 30 people joined a gathering called by Amnesty International-Hawai`i and several other organizations to protest the ban against transgenders in the military. Refuse Fascism had a big presence. Several Refuse Fascism supporters called on the group to link the struggle for Trans rights with the struggles of other groups under attack and to call out the Trump/Pence Regime for what it is: FASCISM! Many who attended were young, had not been to previous actions, wanted to know more about Refuse Fascism, and signed up on our e-list. Coverage of the action appeared on the evening news.
