NYC, NY • On Saturday, November 18, 2017, RefuseFascism.org invites all who can be united nation-wide to join us for our next demonstration to demand; This nightmare must end! The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!This week we continue the movement with Break the silence • BRING the noise • Pots & Pans • Drums & Marching Bands, in cities nationwide. The people will bring the joyful, urgent, and insistent noise of defiance. Together they will sound the alarm and break through the silence of normalization, accommodation, and conciliation. Marching to a new beat, all will step out with the determination that we will not allow this regime to destroy humanity and the planet. No one is too young or too old to be a part of the joy of resistance, and of acting with courage and conviction in the name of humanity. RefuseFascism.org is calling on everyone who can be united to sound the alarm and break the silence. What is the silence we are breaking? The silence of normalization and accommodation, of people going along with their lives as Trump escalates war threats, as immigrants are detained and deported, as everyday fascism is advanced.
What is the noise we are bringing? We’ll be waking up and calling forward all those who burn with outrage at this regime but don’t yet know of this movement. We will march to a beat with a determination that this regime will not destroy humanity and the planet. Pots and pans, drums and buckets, whistles and our voices.
These protests are for all ages but we extend a special invitation to students and young people! Bring your energy, your rowdiness, your determination for a better future!
