On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, we of different faiths and nationalities stand together to say NEVER AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN will we allow another demonization and mass murder to happen to ANY people. This is our responsibility. I have said – first, they have come for the Mexicans, then Muslims, then the disabled. Now we see Jewish places of Jewish worship being terrorized.
If you allow Muslims or immigrants to be demonized, to be called terrorists and rapists by the President of the USA, we have seen where this racism and scapegoating can lead. This can be a first step to a new holocaust. We have to resist now.
We must stand up and speak out together. On this Holocaust Remembrance Day we must stand together with all our immigrant brothers and sisters, with people of all faiths, past and present, to say clearly – NO! in the name of humanity, we must refuse a fascist America.
