THE TRUMP FASCIST REGIME MUST GO NOW!
July 7: Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, 52 years old, shot and killed by ICE in Houston, Texas.
July 13: Joan Sebastian Guerrero, 26 years old, shot and killed by ICE in Biddeford, Maine.
Two immigrant fathers murdered in cold blood in less than a week.
Lawless state violence wielded to rule through fear, intimidation, and deadly force. The question is no longer, “Would they really do that?” They have. They are. They will—unless millions act to stop them.
After mass protests forced ICE into the spotlight earlier this year, the regime didn’t retreat—it adapted.
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin openly boasted of a new “quiet” strategy: not fewer raids, but more. Instead of headline-grabbing sweeps, ICE would hunt people down as they tried to live their lives—on the way to work, at gas stations and grocery stores, on buses, outside courthouses, and in parking lots. In late June alone, ICE abducted more than 10,000 people in just five days, with agents ordered to meet quotas of thousands of arrests every day.
THIS IS A TIME WHEN THE DEMAND:
“TRUMP MUST GO NOW!”
NEEDS TO BE SEEN, HEARD AND FELT EVERYWHERE.
This regime will not be bound by any laws or measures of decency that stop them from carrying out their aims: the genocidal ethnic cleansing of non-white immigrants; war and terror abroad; bringing “domestic terrorism” charges against protesters to crush dissent at home; actively rigging the midterm elections by any means at their disposal.
And now, Trump’s illegitimate and illegal war on Iran, with renewed strikes and threats to annihilate a whole civilization, has brought the whole world to a perilous moment.
“Enough is enough” must mean a growing force of millions in nonviolent protest demanding an end to the whole fascist program. This fascism is not slowing down – it is accelerating. If we don’t make removing this fascist regime our demand, we will be left trying to fight yesterday’s outrage on ever shrinking ground – while they lock tomorrow’s horrors into place.
The righteous outpourings against ICE murders and terror in immigrant communities must grow. Everyone with a heart has a responsibility to act now. Waiting for an election that is actively being stolen is complicity.
