TRUMP IS A DANGER TO THE FUTURE OF HUMANITY—shredding basic rights and the rule of law here and around the world. There is no living with Trump fascism.

From threatening to wipe out a whole civilization to hunting down immigrants to accelerating climate disaster, the Trump fascist regime is destroying lives and wrecking the planet. A ruler who threatens to destroy a civilization cannot remain in power another day.

This regime is fascist through and through. They have shredded the rule of law domestically and internationally. Masked gestapo agents continue to round up masses of people — shipping tens of thousands of our immigrant sisters and brothers into warehouse concentration camps in the US and into countries where these detainees have no ties. The rule of law, the right to dissent, voting rights, and the civil liberties of women, people of color, and LGBTQ people are being ripped away. This regime has put the destruction of the environment on steroids.

Is this a country where Trump can do all this—and people live with it?

Or is this a country where millions refuse—and act to stop it?

The streets of this country have been far too quiet as humanity is held hostage by a fascist regime that is genocidal and that is every day bolting into place a white supremacist, theocratic, patriarchal, immigrant-bashing, science-denying, fascist America.

Every day of business as usual normalizes this and paves the way for further horrors. To stay home, to do nothing, to limit your outrage to social media and “like” the outrage of others is to accept the unacceptable.

Millions feel the outrage and anguish. But that outrage is being funneled into dead ends: waiting for a savior from the Democratic Party, hoping for norms this regime has long set on fire, relying on the very institutions being hollowed out or remade in fascist form.

We must not wait for elections that Trump is actively rigging – with assistance from the Supreme Court. Does anyone really believe the tyrant who attempted a coup and pardoned the January 6 insurrectionists will respect any election he loses?

This is not a time for Democratic Party midterm “affordability” politics. Shrinking the existential threat of the Trump Fascist Regime down to “kitchen table concerns” is like saying the German people should have demanded a better standard of living under Hitler.

THE TRUMP FASCIST REGIME MUST BE DRIVEN FROM POWER—NOW

Not someday. Not after more horrors. Not after more people adjust. Not after the ground to resist is gone and those who resist are locked up, dead, or brought to their knees. Now.

This is possible. While way too far along on the road to consolidation, this regime does not have their whole program locked in. The people in power are deeply divided. Some of them know how dangerous this is—even hate what’s happening—but aren’t acting.

That is where the tens of millions of decent people come in.

When people act together—nonviolently, in growing numbers, united around one clear demand—it can change what is possible. It can disrupt business as usual, shake the confidence of those holding things together, and force those in power who are wavering to break. That is how regimes lose their grip.

It is on all of us who see the danger to step forward now—into the streets and throughout society—raising the demand TRUMP MUST GO NOW! and building a relentless nonviolent resistance that creates a crisis this regime cannot govern through: a political earthquake that makes those that rule act to legitimately remove Trump from power.

In times of deep division and moral crisis, it is up to those who recognize the existential danger to act together—nonviolently but with determination—to make one demand impossible to ignore, felt throughout all of society:
