Donald Trump Jr. kicks off his national book tour for Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us at UCLA with Charlie Kirk, Jr. in an event sponsored by Turning Point, USA on Sunday, November 10th.
The #OutNow movement is calling for mass protest.
“Don Jr. is the heir and attack dog for the Trump/Pence regime — a fascist regime that poses a clear and present danger to humanity,” said Atlas Winfrey, of RefuseFascism.org and the Revolution Club, LA. “We’ll be there to raise the demand: #OutNow! This is a fascist regime and people need to be in the streets now in sustained, non-violent, determined protest aimed at driving this regime from power.”
UCLA is the campus where Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was booed and where people protesting were physically removed from their seats and arrested, dragged through the courts but ultimately acquitted.
“This regime is flaunting the impeachment proceedings and from its first days in office is working to establish a fascist form of rule: gutting the rule of law, the separation of church and state, attacking science and packing the judiciary with judges willing to overturn civil liberties. Trump has targeted the press ‘the enemy of the people’ and threatened his political opponents with charges of treason and calls to ‘lock them up.’” said Chantelle Hershberger, from RefuseFascism.org
“Donald Trump Jr’s book defends a regime that has established concentration camps on the border and separated 5,400 children from their parents, a regime that has brought overt white supremacy and the battle cries of the confederacy back into the Oval Office. Junior has the most powerful bully pulpit in the world but paints himself and this regime as the ‘victims under siege.’” said Winfrey (one of the UCLA5 acquitted for protesting Mnuchin).
“Triggered is a fascist manifesto, painting ANTI-fascists and liberals as domestic terrorists while whipping up a social base who have carried out white supremacists massacres aimed at Latinos, Synagogues and Black churches. Junior’s tour is taking place as Donald Trump has answered the impeachment proceedings by holding fascist rallies where people are being whipped up with the language of ‘Civil War.’”
