We demand witnesses, real trial, and removal – Trump/Pence Out Now!

Today, starting 12 noon

East side of U.S. Capitol, Delaware Ave NE & Northeast Dr

5:00 pm in front of the Capitol #OutNow will join with Swarm the Senate and other groups to demand witnesses, evidence and a real trial

On Friday, January 31, the day the Senate is scheduled to vote on whether to have witnesses at Trump’s impeachment trial, RefuseFascism.org will be taking its demand for witnesses, evidence, a real trial, conviction and removal, and most of all the removal of the whole fascist regime for ALL their crimes against humanity and the planet to key Federal institutions in Washington DC.

“The idea that you have a jury, a Senate coordinating in lock step with the defendant, working to suppress evidence, to suppress witnesses — that’s not justice,” Sunsara Taylor, a co-founder of Refuse Fascism, told the New York Times. “That’s a sham. This is illegitimate.”

“The Republicans are rigging this trial and the one force that could actually change this equation is the power of the people coming out in the streets and demanding witnesses, demanding evidence and demanding conviction and removal,” Rafael Kadaris of RefuseFacism.org told The Hill.

IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY, WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT A FASCIST AMERICA!

NOW IS the TIME WHEN WE MUST RISE UP and ACT to STOP the CONSOLIDATION of TRUMP MAGA FASCISM. For the lives of people here and around the world we must refuse unlawful and inhumane orders… we must fill the streets and town squares in non-violent protest—not stopping until we become millions — not relenting until this regime is no longer able to implement its program or maintain its hold on power.
