Philly to take part in national protest march

Add “protest the Trump Administration” to the list of things to do in Philadelphia this weekend.

Hundreds are expected to gather at Thomas Paine Plaza on Saturday, July 15, reportedly joining thousands across the country organizing for what’s being simply called, “The Trump/Pence regime Must GO!” rally. According to a release, the rally is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at Thomas Paine Plaza with a march scheduled to follow.

NOW IS the TIME WHEN WE MUST RISE UP and ACT to STOP the CONSOLIDATION of TRUMP MAGA FASCISM. For the lives of people here and around the world we must refuse unlawful and inhumane orders… we must fill the streets and town squares in non-violent protest—not stopping until we become millions — not relenting until this regime is no longer able to implement its program or maintain its hold on power.
