We are not in normal times. We are in a time of profound change. We see that every day with Trump’s political rhetoric and actions, but also in the unprecedented outpourings of anguish and protest, like the 7 million who marched just a week ago. No Kings Day showed our numbers. Now we must take this higher, from periodic protests to unrelenting nonviolent protest that demands the regime go now. We will not wait for a future election that the regime is already working to subvert, and we will not stop until our demand is met.
Over a year ago, students at Columbia, acting with courage and conviction, galvanized a student movement against the genocide in Gaza. The whole world was watching. Now, in 2025, the world continues to look on. Will they see Columbia rise up to stop America from sliding into fascism?
