On Saturday, December 13, 250 people gathered at the White House to deliver The People’s Indictment of Donald Trump: A Unified Declaration of Illegitimacy. This powerful indictment outlines the major crimes of the fascist Trump regime and why it must be driven from power. This action concluded six weeks of intense, on-the-ground mobilization of nonviolent protest in DC that brought forward the broad unity of thousands from all over the country, from different backgrounds and political perspectives, to demand “Trump Must Go Now!”
In the lead-up to Surround the White House 2.0, street teams distributed hundreds of People’s Indictments; artists contributed their creativity to designing posters, graphics, and enlargements; and walls got covered with posters announcing where to be on December 13 and why the Trump Fascist Regime Must Go Now!
