This Nightmare Must End:
The Trump/Pence Regime Must GO!
One year ago, millions clogged the streets of every major city in this country and many small towns in the historic Women’s March. Together, we felt our power and showed the world our disgust and anger at the hideous, racist, sexual-predator-in-chief who had just been inaugurated.
You are right to be in the streets again – and it is even more needed now
Ask yourself:
- Did you imagine that in one year it would become normal to have an open white supremacist in the White House – a man who calls whole nations and continents filled with Black and Brown people “shitholes”?
- To have the Muslim Travel Ban in effect?
- For immigrants everywhere to live in outright terror, afraid to even drive their kids to school or go to court for a parking ticket because they might be snatched and disappeared forever by ICE?
- For immigrants rights leaders like Ravi Ragbir, Jean Montrevil, Maru Moro-Villalpando, and others to be targeted and taken into detention, on track to deportation while most of society goes on with business as usual? To have Trump threatening a nuclear holocaust via Twitter?
- This must never become normal. It should never be accepted or accommodated to. This nightmare of the Trump/Pence Regime grows worse by the day. They are moving fast to impose fascism on America and only the people with our feet in the streets can stop them!
All this is why it is so important for everyone to be in the streets this weekend, on the anniversary of the inauguration of the fascist Trump/Pence Regime and on the anniversary of the historic Women’s
March.
