Welcome May Day Marchers

Thousands of people, immigrants and others, marched and rallied in cities across the country demanding an end to the Trump regime’s attacks on immigrants, demanding that immigrants be treated as human beings. Refuse Fascism was at many of these marches, bringing its call “No Ban! No Wall! No Deportations! No Fascist USA! 100 Days of Fascism – Basta Ya! Drive out the Trump/Pence Fascist Regime” into the mix. Images of some of those protests are on this page.

Los Angeles, Marching Downtown, May 1st 2017

On May 1st, from Lawrence MA. to Los Angeles, people with Refuse Fascism carried NO! signs in a multitude of languages and/or marched in NO! contingents. They stood with people from all over the world, as immigrants in this country are being demonized, terrorized, dragged from their homes, or living in fear that the government will jail or deport them and everyone else is being told to stand aside and turn their backs.

Carrying this NO!, made clear to all their opposition to Donald Trump’s hideous “America First” ideology and program.  Say NO! to Trump’s Nazi-like Declaration proclaiming that May 1st should be “Loyalty Day” – when it is clear he means “Loyalty” to “Making America White Again” and threatening people of the whole world with his war moves.

IN THE NAME OF HUMANITY, WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT A FASCIST AMERICA!

NOW IS the TIME WHEN WE MUST RISE UP and ACT to STOP the CONSOLIDATION of TRUMP MAGA FASCISM. For the lives of people here and around the world we must refuse unlawful and inhumane orders… we must fill the streets and town squares in non-violent protest—not stopping until we become millions — not relenting until this regime is no longer able to implement its program or maintain its hold on power.
