Yesterday RefuseFascism.org was on the move in cities around the country, protesting the separation of families at the border. In Berkeley, we protested the message of the speaking tour by Christian Fascist Franklin Graham, who is mobilizing a fervent base to support Trump’s xenophobic policies.
But we weren’t just protesting, we were organizing — by sounding the alarm to the public, that this regime is fascist regime and they are poised to do worse if they are not driven from power, letting people know our plan to drive them out and giving them concrete ways to be involved in such an effort.
We met people who took stacks of the Call to Action to work & new people who wanted to help with social media. People wanted to know when we meet, so we told them.

“Jesus didn’t say one word about gay people. But you have this man Franklin Graham who [bashes] gay people,” says Rev. Amos Brown of Third Baptist Church, and president of San Francisco, NAACP. The church issued a statement denouncing Graham as racist and fascist.
