This was a heavy week.
In the aftermath of the heinous shooting of two National Guard members, the Trump regime vowed revenge and terror against all immigrants, especially from Afghanistan and other “Third World” countries. Refuse Fascism posted the following response to the November 26 tragedy.
Statement On The Heinous Shooting of Two National Guard Members
Updated November 28, 2025
The shooting of two National Guard members near the White House on Wednesday, November 26, is a tragedy. We send our condolences to the family and friends of Spec. Sarah Beckstrom and hope for the recovery of Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe. Refuse Fascism strongly condemns this heinous act.
Incidents such as this have nothing to do with and only do harm to the nonviolent mass struggle of millions that is needed to drive the fascist Trump regime from power. What makes this all the more painful is that these National Guardsmen were brought to DC illegally by the Trump regime under false pretenses.
At this point, we know little about the circumstances, motivation, and guilt or innocence of the accused shooter. However, whatever comes to light, all who care about justice must reject and nonviolently oppose any and all attempts by the Trump regime to seize on this incident as a justification to deploy more troops to Washington DC; further demonize and terrorize immigrants and refugees; and escalate repression against the people and their rights here and internationally.

The danger against humanity grows. We are at a critical juncture in the fight to stop Trump/MAGA fascism.
At the same time, the regime is greatly ratcheting threats of war against Venezuela, declaring to the world that it will not be bound by international or domestic law. This is a major leap in the fascist assault against the people of the world.
The decent people of this country must confront this basic truth: The momentum and direction of the Trump Fascist Regime toward a total remaking of society, government, this country and the world – has not ceased. Trump and his regime cannot be contained. It will not self-destruct on its own. It must be driven out through the nonviolent action and determination of millions.
In this context, and in contrast to the hatred and bigotry of Trump/MAGA fascism, we want to highlight a beautiful event that took place in front of the White House on Friday, November 28.
