Refusefascism.org will be holding a special press conference in Los Angeles, the city where National Guard and Marines occupy U.S. streets to crush righteous, overwhelmingly nonviolent protest against mass sweeps and terror against immigrants – where Trump has threatened to arrest the Governor and Mayor and a US Senator is dragged down and handcuffed.
Refusefascism.org will then march as a contingent in the No Kings protest.On the day when the eyes of the world will be on Washington, D.C. RefuseFascism.org has called for protest in the afternoon of Trump’s evening Military Parade on his Birthday.
Trump’s Military Parade is designed to create public consent to his fascist view that this
is his army not loyal to the US Constitution or the rule of law, but to Trump personally
with all the white supremacy, misogyny and America-First hatred that involves. We say
NO! This is the road to a dangerous repressive future. We will march to say: “In the
Name of Humanity, We Refuse to Accept a Fascist America! And: “TRUMP MUST GO
NOW!”
With decency, humanity, unity, nonviolence and with determination and courage too, we
will take to the streets early in the day in a permitted march to the White House.
This is not a time for fear, it is a time for courage and conviction. A time to stand up for
the future of all.
