Celebration in the face of a fascist regime is obscene.
This July 4, in a nation that stole the land and lives of its original inhabitants and was then populated by immigrants, today demonizes, terrrorizes, hunts down, locks up, and throws out immigrants, refugees, Muslims, and Mexicans under the Trump slogan of “Make America Great Again.”
The cruel and brutal policies being hammered into place by the Trump/Pence regime target women, Black people, Latinos, LGBTQ persons, as well as the elderly, the sick, the hungry and the children of this country.
Under the fascist slogan of “America First” the Trump/Pence regime has ratcheted up the danger of war, threatening even nuclear war. This regime denies science drastically eviscerating environmental protection poisoning the earth while stopping any efforts to slow or stop global warming – a scientifically proven fact.
This July 4th RefuseFascism declares: In the name of humanity, we REFUSE to accept a fascist America! No person with a shred of decency and concern for humanity and the survival of the earth should accept the cruel and brutal future of the Trump/Pence Regime.
Therefore we are announcing that on July 15, 2017 in cities across the country, people will take to the streets to protest and demand: The Trump/Pence Regime Must GO!
