On Election Day and After…
In the Name of Humanity,
WE REFUSE TO ACCEPT A FASCIST AMERICA
Whatever happens on Election Day and following weeks of counting, certifying, contesting— Trump will continue to ram fascism down our throats. THIS WE MUST NOT ALLOW.
While we resist attacks on the people and our rights, we must raise the righteous, urgent demand: “Trump Must Go Now!” Now is the time to organize and struggle for people to take up this demand — preparing for massive sustained nonviolent protests that could arise, protests with the potential to create a nationwide political crisis that could lead to the regime’s removal.
The Trump fascist regime is shredding the rule of law. Rejecting the peaceful transfer of power. Illegitimately deploying the military on U.S. soil. Disappearing brown-skinned immigrants into concentration camps. Resurrecting genocidal white supremacy. Shackling women and LGBTQ people. Accelerating climate collapse. Destroying truth. Waging an illegal war on Iran that endangers the future of humanity. Targeting everything that is decent, moral and good. All at the whim of a debased lunatic tyrant.
There is no living with this fascism. It must be driven from power.
The coming weeks and months could shape the future for generations. These fascists see this as an existential battle: to lock down violent white supremacy, patriarchal authority, Christian nationalism, and unchallenged U.S. domination over people here and worldwide. In their minds, the Trump MAGA movement has come too far to let any election or opposition stop them.
For humanity, stopping this regime is an existential necessity.
Trump never accepted his 2020 defeat. He made election denial a test of loyalty, and he is already challenging results before the vote is counted.
Attempts to suppress votes, overturn results, or block elected representatives from taking office could provoke resistance. Defending the vote could become an urgent battleground. Such a struggle must reach the source of the danger:The Trump Fascist Regime Must Go. Not in 2028. Now.
There is no way to stop fascist consolidation without sustained mass struggle from below. Even impeachment and conviction would require enormous popular pressure to compel removal.
This means millions filling the streets. Many voices, many backgrounds, one unifying demand: THE WHOLE TRUMP FASCIST REGIME MUST GO NOW!
When millions refuse to go along, it changes what’s possible. People in positions of power who have been silent will face mounting pressure to break with Trump. Conflicts over whether and how the regime can continue to rule could deepen divisions among those in power. A growing mass movement, along with other political crises, can overwhelm the regime’s ability to maintain its grip on power.
This will require sacrifice. No outcome is guaranteed. But history is full of examples where people who had right on their side fought against tremendous odds and won. It is also full of examples of people passively hoping to wait it out, only to get swallowed up by a horror beyond what they ever imagined.
