with genocidal aims.

An estimated 900 men are being held in cages at “Alligator Alcatraz.” This concentration camp, built on an airfield in the middle of the Everglades, surrounded by dangerous wildlife, subject to extreme heat, and in a High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, is just one horrific expression of the genocidal, white supremacist aims of the Trump fascist regime and the whole MAGA movement.
Fascist influencer and close advisor to Donald Trump Laura Loomer posted “Alligator lives matter. The good news is, alligators are guaranteed at least 65 million meals if we get started now.” 65 million refers to the population of Latinos living in the United States. This is a deadly serious, open declaration of genocide passed off as a “joke,” but it is a natural extension of Trump’s dehumanizing rhetoric and the open terror being unleashed now on the Latino population.
Now is the time to act to stop this! Now is the time to drive out a genocidal regime through a mass, nonviolent struggle of millions of people who do not want to become complicit.

After a limited tour, Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz was visibly shaken. “The pictures that you’ve seen don’t do it justice. They are essentially packed into cages, wall to wall humans, 32 detainees per cage.”
From CNN:
The wife of a 43-year-old Guatemalan man currently detained at “Alligator Alcatraz” told CNN her husband is enduring harsh conditions similar to those described by lawmakers who toured the facility. After more than two weeks in detention, she said, he has yet to see a lawyer.
“There are too many mosquitoes … He’s in a really bad condition. The power goes off at times because they’re using generators,” the woman told CNN in an interview Tuesday.
“The detainees are being held in tents, and it is very hot there. They’re in bad conditions. … There’s not enough food. Sick people are not getting medication. Every time I ask about his situation, he tells me it’s bad,” she said.
