In the past few weeks, the Trump-Pence regime has gone on an offensive that literally threatens the fate of humanity.
The bombing of Syria; the use of a massive, “nearly nuclear” bomb on Afghanistan; and the threats against North Korea have opened a dangerous new chapter. Mike Pence said, speaking from a military base in South Korea, that “the era of strategic patience is over” and has told the Koreans that they “should not test this president.”
These actions and threats have ratcheted up fear and tension around the world in a way not seen for at least a generation. And rightly so. Trump – who has his fingers both on the twitter feed and the nuclear codes — seems to find all this useful in bolstering his moves to consolidate fascism and defend imperial interests. But these are NOT the interests of humanity!
We must not sit passive as this goes on. Refuse Fascism pledges itself and calls on others to do everything we can to drive this regime out of power before it can plunge the world into catastrophe.
Right now we call on everyone to join the Refuse Fascism contingents around “NO! Drive Out The Trump-Pence Fascist Regime” at the upcoming Science March, Climate March and May 1 manifestations. And we call on people to join us on our actions on April 24, Holocaust Remembrance Day.
